Yesterday Zem got the chance to spend time with a group of fellow mom-bloggers down at eBay’s San Jose campus. She shared her “ah-hah!” moment when she first started to truly rid her home of toxic chemicals, talked about how she cured her kids’ asthma by switching to a sustainable lifestyle, and how buying eco isn’t always about the latest and greatest green invention – often, the greenest product is the one that already exists. To that regard, Zem was able to show off one of her recent ecofabulous DIY projects, a Kijiji cabinet transformation from last fall’s Green Team re+purpose campaign.

Read more about Zem’s visit here, as she explains just how easy, affordable and eco-friendly it is to buy pre-owned and local.
