Aside from being inherently waterproof, the bags are absolutely sturdy (no more torn handles from trying to fit 4 books, a laptop, kids’ toys, and your water bottle inside your purse!). But it’s not just the sails that bear the story of re-use – when any of the bags contain leather accents, know that they’re recycled scraps from a shoe factory. And even the hand-spliced rope handles (a technique known to only the most authentic of experienced sailors) are made with a percentage of recycled content.
