At this year’s Dwell on Design Conference in LA, the showhouse collaboration between eBayecofabulous, and Reclaimed Space, produced a 400 square foot eco-luxe cabin designed using high quality vintage, repurposed, and restyled items found on eBay and other local antique stores, and was sold on the online auction site for $75,000, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity LA. Check out the ecofabulous interiors and listen as Zem shares some of her top design tips and talks about shopping for vintage furniture, one of her favorite ways to design with the environment in mind – use what’s already in existence and divert pieces from being sent to the landfill!

Click here for an interview with both Zem (ecofabulous’ fearless founder) and eBay Green Team’s Annie Lescroart, as they field some questions from visitors of the showhouse about the innovative project, emerging business and consumer trends surrounding vintage and reclaimed materials and ecofabulous’ innovative and stylish design.
